Started off strong but I’m 300 pages in and very little has actually happened — pacing is not this book’s strong suit

Only just started but, so far, it feels like this book was written just for me. The humour, the strange niche and esoteric knowledge, the reference to Sartre on the sprayed edges, the fact that the protagonist used to be a climber—it just feels tailored to me.
