twists did get me but also wish they were actually discoverable with the plot, I don’t like twists that are complete blindsides

I don’t think I understand how serious slashing someone’s tires are

can’t tell if the twist is obvious or I’m being clearly misdirected

plot twist got me, I felt gutted

promising start, premise was very interesting and the entire first act (with some exceptions) kept me hooked. then we got to act 2 and it killed all momentum. wish they prolonged the scenario in act 1 somehow/interspersed the different povs earlier on in the story. I wanted to skim through the entire section with erik. also the villains themselves let me down, wish they went in a different direction for that

2.75- I was the right, the ending was so underwhelming. honestly feels like such a shame that it had a great cover and title and was honestly pretty interesting right up until the end

short, silly, some of the routes felt very lazy though - you immediately die at the very beginning where you ideally want to paths to keep branching out

I mean I had fun, and I think we lucked out with a fun first route, but this by no means like high quality

so fun to think about and a pretty quick read, I almost want to hold off finishing it until April 7 so the dates match, but I’m too close to the end to put this down now

feel a little bad for rating it this low because I should’ve just dnfed it earlier but it had potential so I held on

I really feel like all these individual elements have potential but this book is tossing way too many things together for anything work. I wish they got rid of the whole sci fi plotline and focused on the demons and katrina. also, this whole selling your soul thing is creating so much less strife between them than I thought it would?? where is turmoil this is kind of underwhelming
