sunk cost fallacied my way into finishing this, I think one of my problems is a dislike towards the main pairing. this is fully just a me problem because theoretically this set up makes a lot of sense. one of the reasons I feel meh about this is that I misunderstood the age gap to be several decades apart instead of years and now I’m kind of having a hard time reinterpreting half the book with that in mind
