Unusual…sarcastic

I have read several mixed reviews. This is a memoir not stand up routine but it is funny. I’m listening to the audio. He’s very genuine and I love his reverence and kindness towards his family and the NBA story with his friend Pee.

Maybe I will enjoy this more in book form.
The orator did not very good

Difficult to keep up with the different view points via audio

This is the 3rd Tolstoy book I’ve read. It’s very different from Anna Karenina and War and Peace… lacking a lot of details requiring me to reread several paragraphs… I feel no emotional connection to any character thus far.

The banning of the book is joke when we all know parents were fighting to keep porn books out of elementary schools

I spoke too soon the teacher is black and female who has experienced racism of course.

I was ok until Finn said toxic masculinity! 🫩Who speaks that way to their father. That was unrealistic. Clearly she putting as much woke left nonsense as she could. The legal immigration experience was worth reading about but the climate change plot didn’t sell!

So much information packed in this small book. This is not a quick read but it is a must read for every American!
