Educational but holy shit is this depressing right now

Why is this series so much harder for me to finish than literally any other book? It’s such a slog for me to get through. The romance is stale. The plot is the only part I’m still interested in.

Hard to read because it’s so depressing and the misogynistic ideas present in the ‘small’ communities she describes have just become even more mainstream in the 5 years since this was published.

one short story to go i think, but i have to finish mistborn era 2 first and i really don’t want to get around to it, im not rly a wax and wayne fan
