how is it always the most horrifying books that make me giggle the most

i don’t like the translation

i’m not the biggest fan of the language, i’m not sure what it is? i think this would work better as a movie (and it is, i believe)

but the feelings of discomfort etc. would be more interesting to watch on a face, or reflected in the scene, than it is to read them

maybe the word “fucking” as an adjective is used a bit too much haha,

also “biceps as big as the tops of her thighs”? Oh please….

Besides that, sooooooooo bloody brilliant, I’m devouring this story

i love these books but i’m pausing reading for a bit. i’m rereading + it is such a large epos, i want to enjoy my fall literature and read with a bit more variation for now :)

4 chapters and 33 pages in and this book is already bloody brilliant!

ugh i am revelling in this lost art of true enemies to lovers, it’s so goddamn lovely and also i am not reading any new releases, if it wasn’t written before 2020 it will be hard to convince me to try.

i’ve been reading a lot of interesting beautiful books lately, but i just started “the women” by kristin hannah and oh my she writes in such a way that makes me never ever want to stop reading, she’s so GOOD
