It got worse. I hate this book actually. Book about self-harm? Yeah, reading this book is self-harm. This is so fucking corny.

Not to be ridiculous but like. This is such a normie book.

Hmm. I think my problem with this book (or at least with finding it enjoyable) is that it’s told from the perspective of a women who is very firmly set in world views that I’ve deliberately rejected, but are still very common in women around me, so listening to this just pulls me into too many feelings from real life situations around people like this.

Wow looks like compulsive behaviors are common in Camille’s family. I wonderrrrrr if the jealous little girl with anger issues has any compulsions related to violence and removing body parts

bro i cannot lie. i’ve loved this book until the last few chapters that were entirely focused on “my lady.” i’m getting sickkkk of it!!! might be because i can’t stand the voice simon vance does for her… I MISS THE MUSKETEERS.

why did no one tell me how funny these books are

well. this book was definitely written by a white person in the 1920s

lost a lot of interest during the war section :( the book hasn’t made me care about mary so that sucks lmao

started this on the drive home from SC! missed some details cuz i was driving but i LOVEEEE the vibes so far. idk what to think of meg’s storyline yet, but love the storylines about the mercenaries and the monastery. reminds me of ‘between two fires’
