My first Virginia Henley novel! 🤞

Honestly? This is soooooooo boring.

Does it get better? I am betting that it doesn't.

Debating whether to finish.....

And my sports romance binge continues....

I haven't read any other books in this series but I am not lost at all and really enjoying it so far!

I am loving this and didn't think I would!

I am reading this because it ticks the final box I need to finally get a bingo (only one line in bingo, as I am very behind in reading). Anyway, this story is super low angst, kinda cheesy and the book cover has zero to do with the hero or story. This is a very "not me" book, but I'm also not minding it.

Not loving this, truth be told, but I am holding out in hopes the two really, really awful characters (which are separate from the less awful characters) to get their comeuppance. It better friggin' happen!

I downloaded this book years ago and only read a few pages before being very turned off due to the violent nature of the book. Apparently, I have become desensitized over time with all my other books and have chosen to give this another go. 🤞

I am pausing my other book because this one just came in the mail. I'm only 14 pages in and everything is already SO dramatic and the emotions are OTT, so of course I'm loving it!!! 😍

I am really enjoying the moments between the two lovebirds. I am not enjoying the lengthy paragraphs dedicated to war stratagem.

It's taken me some time to warm up to the story and writing. I am sticking with it because I am a fan of the heroine. They say she's spoiled, entitled, impulsive, and self-absorbed, and they aren't wrong, but she's also very self-aware, and I like her.

This book is taking me forever to get through because life demands I do other things than read. I'm really enjoying the story but the 72 times (or so it seems) that the couple *almost* does the deed, but gets interrupted is a tad tiresome.

I am reading this series completely out of order and judging by the low star ratings on gr, not many people liked this book 😬 🤷‍♀️. So far, I am enjoying it. I hope the story doesn't go downhill. 🤞

The heroine will trust anyone as long as they have malintent towards her but refuses to trust the one trustworthy(ish) guy (the hero) 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Her inability to buy a clue is a little tiresome. I'm hoping they get back to the romance soon.

I found this book at a used bookstore and the first book in the series wasn't there. I'm hoping that starting with book 2 won't be an issue. So far, I am hooked.

Found this book at a used bookstore. The first story was okay and I'm fine with just "okay" since it was for such a discounted price. I am unfamiliar with the other authors. 🤞 they deliver.

At first, I wasn't sure if I was going to continue reading this book. It didn't grab me like I hoped. I've been in a serious book slump and have been passing on books left and right but something told me to hold onto this one and so far, I'm glad I did. This is getting more and more entertaining as I read.

I purchased this during a book sale. It's been a minute since I've read a thriller, so I'm hoping for a good and very suspenseful time. 🤞

I found this on some GR list and added it. I've never read this author before. So far, it's a light and easy romance - exactly what I was in the mood to read.

So, I also eat chips every day. Does this mean my life is also a mess?? Probably.

I've never read a single book by this author, so me being me, I'm jumping midway into her second or third series.... I have no idea. Anyway, it's not her first book. But I'm here and ready to see what all the fuss is about.
