"I hope you aren’t one of those vegetarians who won’t eat fish.”
“You’re in luck.” She smiled.."I love sushi"
.....what kind of vegetarian eats fish? That would be a pescatarian. It's also hilarious that an environmental scientist and marine ecologist somehow draws the line at eating cows and chickens, but the sustainability problems with fishing are totally cool with her because !!!sushi!! 🙄

This book is dragging. How many times does she have to run away for Campbell to rescue her and find her. It's getting tired.

I'm literally just skimming at this point, only interested in Cait's relationship

Liking this so far, but I feel like something special needs to happen for me to get really excited over this book. So far everything has been very predictable. I think Edmund needs to be humanized more, we don't seem to know much about his past or his personality yet.

I can't finish this. The writing is horrible, the characters one dimensional and the pacing laughable..what a disappointment

So far so good. The writing is engaging, and the first story about Dorothy was really interesting and insightful. Excited to see the philosophy play out in this book.

I'm on chapter 15 of this book and let me tell you IT IS GETTING TOO MUCH. I am TOO ATTACHED to these characters, like my heart beats too fast when something is about to happen, I'm TOO AFRAID of what's going to happen to Lizzie and Patrick's relationship, I can't handle it at all. I've never needed an emotional break from a book because I was too attached. Goddamnit McCrathy, you've outdone yourself.
