I almost dnf'd this earlier but around the 40% mark the worldbuilding slowed down and the character and plot progression began. Enjoying this quite a bit now.

Sure sure... Why not start another epically long series. I've heard so many good things about Wars of Light and Shadow and couldn't resist the $3.00 purchase of this novella.

Well... I'm getting close to having enough of this. It's very well written and quite literally comes alive in your mind but.. yeah I kind of just wish I was finished. I'm growing more and more to suspect that this doesn't really go anywhere? Which i guess can be fine but if the journey continues on its current trajectory, I'm not sure I want to keep walking. I can admire the writing but I'm close to just being done
