as for now, we only know little about the narrator and other women, including on why are they being held captive and how they got there. it's interesting because they've been in underground bunker for who knows how long that they start losing the idea of the outside world. being oblivious to time and even have no idea whether is night or day. though it's confusing, i love that they can make something out of nothing.

Narsisme Alam makin terlihat seiring dewasanya. Tapi cerita yang disajikan makin menarik.

sejauh ini, sebagaimana sebalnya aku pada sosok alam yang terkesan narsis, aku menyukai cara berpikirnya yang sederhana tapi bermakna kompleks.

It's a mess, it's a disaster. My fear of losing things arising lol

Buku satu telah tuntas. Sejauh ini aku masih belum yakin dengan perasaanku. Entah dari segi alur maupun karakter. Aku tidak memiliki karakter kesukaanku. Kebodohan dukuh paruk menjadi alasan utamanya. Namun ada bagian-bagian yang membuatku bersimpati dengan Rasus. Terutama saat Rasus berbicara tentang Emak dan segala yang ia rindukan tentangnya.

for someone whose English isn't as good, the whole narration is a challenge to me. Thought I wouldn't understand the storyline, and woah did I love this book. The hard part was because Blakemore is a poet, and her language level is completely different from mine. I enjoy this so far, nonetheless. Though it's indeed a heavy read, I truly enjoy this.
