She gets her timing wrong. She says it’s been a month since she has seen Jerik, but she said she’s killed dozens of people, but it took one week in between the first two kills so I don’t feel like that’s correct

Really interesting content but I had trouble with the timeline and some names ( probably due to doing audio ).

I hate when books feed into the negative stereotypes of wolves

How are they kings if she is the queen? I don’t get the hierarchy

Really repetitive and the comments about how they were in their youth are overabundant and don’t really add anything to the story

Pages and pages of nauseating inner monologue about how obsessed they are

God these 2 are annoying. Why can’t they have a normal conversation, it’s all growling and sexy eyes.

Also why is she so concerned with being the lady of the house as if that means anything? Like babe, it’s not that serious, chill.
I’m so annoyed she didn’t dress appropriately for dinner either, like take a fucking bath

None of the scenes feel finished.

I feel like I walked into the middle of a plot while missing important information

FMC is annoying and super embarrassing behavior in front of the dog . How dumb do you have to be to think it’s going to attack you

I like this one. The pacing is a little strange, the whole book fits in about a week but enjoying the concept and I enjoy when ancient fae speak how I would expect and not with slang.

God she’s such a baby, she’s been without her friends for 48 hours and keeps pining over them

Why is she so annoying. She barges into danger to save her friend but then somehow begging is too far? Like you’ll kill everyone for the flowers but won’t just beg to save your friend? And then when the crown comes she lets her friends fight rather than surrender herself for them? She sucks and I’m glad she isn’t my friend

It seems absurd that Elm gets stopped by highway men and yet Ione is the one who thinks to use the card. This dude is so trained and used it all the time, no way would he had hesitated and not used it

I hate the POV switch and I hate that there will be a second love story brewing. She’s only doing it cuz she ruined the first one with the ending

They don’t have to work hard for anything. Like nothing is earned by anyone. Like they want to get the cards and it takes his 110 minute conversation and then Card. Then need to get one from her dad and he just hand it to her. Like they don’t actually have to put in any work for anything.

Why do they use trees as an explicit term

She is supposed to be so practiced in hiding her feelings and her face but she loses it after talking with the council immediately

Her anger is soooo annoying. Why doesn’t she know when to shut up and wait for privacy to have extremely secret conversations.

Every other chapter this lady just adds something new to the world that feels so random and excessive. There is no framework to her world building she just keeps piling shit on top

Why the hell does she have a dog that lives at the store all alone? Why doesn’t she bring her to Darien’s?
