140 pages in and I'm just starting to get the shape of their society...but I'm not sure I care anymore. Gonna give it one more shot, but man it's a struggle.

I..have no idea what's going on. But the story is starting to take on momentum of its own, regardless. I'll give it another 50.

As much as I love Star Wars, I'm just not feeling this one. Maybe I'll try it again after I've watched Clone Wars.

Gonna have to call it quits. It's not bad, but it's not my thing either.

So far I am highly engaged. I'm not a "super Catwoma fan" so I couldn't tell you how she's doing vis a vis canon, but she started off with a sucker punch, as she does, and now I'm hooked.

Well, folks, that's it. I just...can't get into it. I'm so mad, because I really wanted to love this book. But sometimes it be like that, I guess.

she's already playing into stereotypes and I'm not sure how I feel about that.

almost halfway through, and I'm still on the edge of my seat. The constantly bouncing POV is occasionally frustrating, creating a ton of mini-cliffhangers, but overall I think it's more good than not.

Right out the gate this book is fascinating. A major plot point has already been revealed if you're paying attention, but that only adds to the intriguing nature of the story. Dual POV may be a bit of a headache, we'll see.

Started re-reading it, thought I remembered it enough, picked up book three, HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IS HAPPENING back to book one I go...

getting in to book two and it's showing no signs of letting up. This is GOOD!

Make or break time. Things have picked up quite a lot, but I'm still on the fence about whether I'll read the rest of the series.

FINALLY something happened that grabbed me. To the very great surprise of absolutely no one who knows me, it was...well, I can't say because spoiler.

*sigh* I want to like this, I really do, but I think it's heading for the DNF pile.

I'm still super annoyed by the premise, but I understand why Andy said I had to read it anyway. The prose is fantastic, with just the right touches of humor.
