the pacing of these people's activities is so weird? as in why are you starting your tour on calton hill and then ending it still on calton hill? how did you go from somewhere in buttfuck nowhere, rural scotland to edinburgh within 5 minutes of awkward conversation? just a quick "they drove the rest of the way home in silence" wouldn't hurt because now it just looks silly i fear
