Jan. 24 : Celestial fanfic

This book is VERY good at making me want to study latin at Oxford while eating scones. (i know that if it was my reality, I would be crying and having a panic attack, but it's nice to dream and romanticize it)

Well, I'm already obsessed

It's always a funny feeling to see that the tiny tiny village where I grew up is very well known in certain scientific circles.
Also my fascination with human evolution is back in full force

I'm usually more into high fantasy involving dragons, and necromancy isn't my favorite thing (I'm easily spooked, ok?), But I understand why this is considered a classic of fantasy

I'm sorry for the people who know me irl because I might be about to fall down the rabbit hole of one of my first loves, aka neanderthal and human evolution. Please tell me if I ramble too much about making fires and wall paintings

I'm just a few pages in and I've already underlined so many sentences. It's beautiful
