I love this book and I love the concept of a writing chasing a story through decades and decades of such changes… but it is a book that needs to be savoured. Not a ‘few pages during lunchtime at desk’ book - which is why it is taking so long..who knows this series may be the 12 books I read this year !

Easy reading....

Very hard going....not any easy read

Very dry, hard to read, there or no real feel of the great man ...it is simply regurgitating his life in convoluted sentences and non sequential narrative...going to finish it and the see if there is a better book about this brilliant barrister

This is a creepy book....but love the photos

I am lying I gave up on this book I cannot deny it....

a book that is both harrowing and hope.....

Just finished read in English and very much enjoyed....x
