My problem right now is: I’m not convinced. I’m NOT convinced into believing Rheya being separated is a big issue because yes we’re told over and over “I wish she was here” but I’m just not feeling it and I’m also not convinced in kairos (as the love interest) he’s like a mashup of every stereotype

This is by far one of the complex books I’ve read this year - I’m enthralled. The politics are so interesting and it’s cool to read from Phedres POV as she grows up I think you can really tell the difference in a 7 year old reporting on something vs her as a 15 year old. Excited to see where this goes next

So many characters to keep track of tbh and I feel like I don’t have a good sense of the world it’s just very character led
