I’ve been struggling to pick up a physical book recently but I just watched every year after on prime and really wanted to read some Carley fortune and found this at the library. UGH it’s what I needed - a summer read

I bought a signed edition the day this came out in bookstores and I waited until almost 3 years later to start reading it but now I’m so excited to read it enter the Londons

I’m genuinely SO pissed off reading this

I have never been so pissed off reading. idk what happens in this book but I support Millie’s rights and wrongs

You would think she’d have a little sense and not say anything that would get the wife in trouble IF SHE ALREADY HAS BAD VIBES AND HAS BEEN IN THE SIUTATION BEFORE

Am I reading the same book as everyone this feels incredibly disjointed

I think the setting and descriptions of the castle is not letting me feel immersed in it I just can’t picture anything

Page 1 or 2 and I’m confused why a duffel bag is huffing an anxious sigh. I understand flowery writing but are we humanizing the bag is this how the writing will be the whole time

You’re telling me Blake Logan can’t handle a few shots at 20? Why does she sometimes feel like she’s 15 not 20

Wyatt graham is just irritating to read

I like Sabrina a lot (hoping dean gets redemption in her eyes) but Tucker is not doing anything for me. I would be so irritated if I found out a guy was tracking down my information and following me home

idk i hate to say this because i know so many people love this series and there's nothing inherently bad about it like the writing is fine, the characters have compelling issues and quirks but it's just not sinking its teeth in me like im not pulled in

I don’t know how to word it but I feel like I’m enjoying it and reading it but not feeling like I care about any of the characters

I fear I have been influenced by social media after off campus aired (sigh)

Thanks to off campus my brain won’t let me read anything else until I go through this whole series 🥲

Confused as to why musters is used here like I think we need another word.

Actually I’m gonna go ahead and trust my gut and the comments and DNF because I’m not feeling realistic actions and connection between the characters and their setting

Honestly lost me a little that she’s receptive to being touched by Vorik a day or so after her whole family died?

I’m honestly not keen on continuing because I think I’ve read the same type of relationship so many times but what the hell I’m curious about where it goes

Just read a page where I swear I could some like LOTR music playing in my ears. Phedre is astonishingly written in the best ways
