I watched the movie when I was a little girl and I was looking for positive books for my mother who has dementia to listen to us read to her. I thought this book would be perfect. I love it! It has brightened my day when I read and I think I have a new favorite classic chapter book to add to my reading list.

Just a few pages in and I'm impressed that it simple yet shows how transformative servant leadership is.

Such a great book I got at 5 & below. Excellent price for all this knowledge! The print is tiny but this book would be huge if it was bigger font. It's a good size to travel with but my old eyes are having a difficult time. I think I'm going to have to get a magnifying sheet.

Good information so far!

This is a good devotion book. Most nights I have to do the devotional in half because of time constraint but loving it all the same. Highly recommend this deep dive into the words of Jesus. Looking forward to finishing it and passing it forward.

I've learned so much about the history of our hometown and our state. Highly recommend this book.

Once receiving religious asylum in the US who breached out to Vietnam veterans to thank them for what they did to help Vietnam. This touched my heart for my father and uncle were Vietnam vets.
I've learnt so much from this from this book and from this man's character. Lord bless him and his family.

First Bibles were printed in 1995, I was 16 years old and didn't realize that so many countries were still struggling with having religious freedom and I didn't understand my own freedom. Makes me so grateful that we can own, read and share the Bible. This book has encouraged me to share my faith more.

Although I heard Pastor Paul speak twice at our church, I am so enjoying reading about more details of his testimony and ministry.

Only a few pages in and I'm learning so much about the history, people, geography of the area. Soaking up this information! I find it very interesting that I might have family in the first people of the area.

* I wish it did have page numbers so I could more easily talk to my friends who also are doing this devotional.

Addresses different characteristics that God wants us to embrace, so far: trust, purpose, identity… Encouraging us to examine who we trust in our lives, what purpose have we embraced, what identity do we wear? Short but deep devotions which I have enjoyed so far and look to following each day to grow deeper in Him and His Word.

Just finished day 5 and oh the stretching! When you stretch your soul sometimes it feels a little tense but once you do it you are like “awwwe! Man does that feel good! Let’s do it again!” So looking forward to this book stretching me more and more!

Highly recommend from vivid reading friend and I’m enjoying it very much. So glad I read it after visiting Israel because knowing more about the culture and area is so interesting. Looking forward to reading the rest.

This is a great book so far. I really like this author’s writing style.

Though this is an older book it still rings true. Times may have changed though right and wrong never has. Great information along with touching personal stories that show the truth about premarital sex, pregnancy, adoption and abortion.

Such a good little book with short chapters that hits to the core. I’m already decided I’m keeping this book and going to read it again and again.

Short chapters that hit deep. Really think this is good book on grief so far.

Every time I read a chapter I say, thank you God for leading my husband to read this book!
