I'm in chapter 5 or something... I don't really know as I keep putting it down to watch reruns of American's Next Top Model. So, I think that says something. I hope it picks up.

Been awhile since I read a book in this series... several months. I have missed Eve and Roarke and their banter.

This series is addictive...

Oh my goodness… I'm only half way done. It's never going to end. The one good thing is I watched Legally Blonde with my husband last night, just so he could see the UPS guy.

This is not my normal genre… and to be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's all just a bit Martha Stewart (before prison) for me. I mean, is the love interest for MC#1 going to be *gasp* the UPS guy - shock/horror. All I can see is the guy from Legally Blonde and it's not working for me. I'm used to princes, warriors, magicians… not the UPS guy. I think I'm coming across as discriminatory… sorry.

I can anticipate the big twist… I see it coming and it is causing great angst and anxiety. This could go really well or really badly. I am nervous.

Definitely getting more and more interesting.

I think, so far, this has been a little hard to get into, but the premise is really interesting, so I am definitely going to preserver.

I can relate to so much of what she is saying. I am finding it an encouragement and I am desperate for my husband to read it after, so he better knows how to deal with me. :)

So far the best character in this book is Clara's mother. And she works for Apple… imagine the discounts.

Her internal monologue is a bit more repetitive than in the first two books - I understand that you broke the rules, I understand that something scary is coming, I understand that you're afraid… now get on with it already.

Art, its completeness, its formedness, its finishedness, had no power to console. Words on the other hand were a lifeline.

I love Malcolm Gladwell... and each individual story/chapter/article is fascinating, but it is a long book.

I am enjoying it so much... I wish I had more time to read.

I have been trying to get my hands on this book for a long time. And tomorrow I am going to camp... and won't be able to continue to read it until after. Sigh... so far the writing is exceptional.

Great to be back in this spooky world with a character I love, but I suspect I know where this book is going.
