I love the storytelling, and how each chapter shifts from last summers to the current summer. It’s a clever way to give readers backstory and context.

I’m used to reading novels with POVs from both main characters there, but it’s refreshing to only have Poppy’s perspective through all of this.

I am very eager to finish and watch the movie on Netflix! 😆

I’m going back and forth about who I would want to see play Angel. It’s between Kofi, Damsen Iris, Rome Flynn or Luke James.. but honestly Luke James is taking it!!

Read chapters 15-17 and YES! They’ve finally let the cat out of the bag (that Nick is Strict).

Just finished chapters 5 & 6!
I love that Lily has asserted herself, finally. Her & Nick’s natural attraction to each other makes sense (for Nick at least) I think this will be the kick in the ass both Nick & Lily needs to get past what’s blocking them from true happiness.

And Nick is a fool if he thinks that he can hide his identity from Lily for long! My guess is that it’ll be revealed at this party. 😜

Omg!! He figured out it was Lily.. i loved reading the heated moment between the two of them

Nick is gonna piss me off! Lol I caught wind of his self deprecation early on.. but now, I can see it sabotaging his future. I hope he gets it together and get this book written.

Omg!! Just finished chapter one (the emails) and I’m devastated for Lily. To be ghosted by a virtual pen pal.

I did enjoy the connection they developed, but I also grew weary about what it would turn into. I felt at one point or another, he would disappoint her… because he’s a self deprecating avoidant.

I’m looking forward to his career being renewed & curious about how they become neighbors. Hmmmm

Reading the emails is very enjoyable right now! I can already feel their connection slowly forming, and I appreciate that they both have a safe space to be a bit vulnerable without judgement. That’s important.
