Just finished chapters 5 & 6!
I love that Lily has asserted herself, finally. Her & Nick’s natural attraction to each other makes sense (for Nick at least) I think this will be the kick in the ass both Nick & Lily needs to get past what’s blocking them from true happiness.
And Nick is a fool if he thinks that he can hide his identity from Lily for long! My guess is that it’ll be revealed at this party. 😜

Omg!! Just finished chapter one (the emails) and I’m devastated for Lily. To be ghosted by a virtual pen pal.
I did enjoy the connection they developed, but I also grew weary about what it would turn into. I felt at one point or another, he would disappoint her… because he’s a self deprecating avoidant.
I’m looking forward to his career being renewed & curious about how they become neighbors. Hmmmm

Reading the emails is very enjoyable right now! I can already feel their connection slowly forming, and I appreciate that they both have a safe space to be a bit vulnerable without judgement. That’s important.
