so tempted to just finish this in one sitting. hearing such a “unoriginal” (as said by one of belle’s friends) life moment — your husband who you are madly in love with, who did a fuck you in the prenup, barely if at all wants to interact with his kids, leaves you after having an affair with a younger woman. lazy! sloppy! disgusting!

if i finish this book and belle doesn’t once run him over with her suv i’ll do it myself. you dare say you are going to take everything from me and the kids you don’t want ANY custody over and ask me to make you a sandwich. this is only part I though so i am sure he continues to put her through bc what man doesn’t ruin your life over and over.

feeling very defeated when i put this down and it was only 60% and not 85% like it felt…im just so over her conflict avoidance and building resentment over everything she never speaks up about

instead of trying to read this book im am listening to the audiobook. its just as uncomfortable as i remember.

the main character literally masturbaiting even after she notices a cockroach run across her walls. just a dirty and sad girl.

i literally cannot wait until this book stop torturing me.
