Author reminds of us plot points that just happened every 5 minutes. Wanting to dnf

There needed to be WAYYYY more yearning and begging for her forgiveness back. A massive build up in book 2 for this one to fall flat in the beginning a bit

DNF :(

It’s soooooo repetitive that the story doesn’t feel like it’s moving forward 😭

200 pages in and I’ve learned absolutely nothing new about the story or the characters it feels like since half of it is repetitive. 😭☠️ ugh

Hooooked

Ugh the writing is just…not good. The story is fine but truly after reading so many incredibly books this year, the writing is so flat and one dimensional. The author has a hard time developing fully constructed scenes. Everything is just right there on the paper - it can’t really play out like a movie in your head. /: I want to DNF unfortunately.

The author leaves no time for readers to actually read and come to conclusions themselves or at least before the fmc spells it out for us 2 sentences after dropping the hint. And the characterization is a bit lazy. Blake calling calumn a big oaf when Rory does, not him. Or Rory using metaphors in her internal dialogue like silver bullet when she’s not a wolf. Calumn saying catch my drift???

Too invested in Blake now to give up.

100 pages in and there’s so many instances where it feels like the story would read so much better if it had a good editor look it over. A lot of outright telling the reader things and how to feel. Making it hard to get through at times.
