The book contains far too many overly long sentences, often running for 5 to 7 lines. The author introduces numerous terms and names without any introduction or explanation, as if assuming the reader is already familiar with them. Unfortunately, there is no “show, don’t tell” either; instead, the book offers only dense exposition in dry, winding prose. I gave up after a chapter and a half.
