why did 383 pages became TWO THOUSAND on my e-reader

I wish there was a movie adaptation for this book because my imagination is not good enough to let me fully experience the beauty of this world

The way I know that the lack of actual romantic scenes between them will hurt my soul. that's the only thing Ann Liang is missing to become one of the best romance authors currently

second they are almost 30 year olds, they would use the word tummy.
too much sexual comments but i feel like they are also a bit infantilized

bardugo has such a great ability to create fantastic worlds that feel actually possible. It is magical to read about the complexity of her characters. i loved it.
