do not judge a book for it’s cover. the writing is amazing but i feel like it is becoming a bit repetitive

this is my first emily henry’s book so i have huge expectations

i’m liking it so far! and i’m reading it way faster than i do with non-fiction books honestly. i believe it is because while i originally wanted to be full-on biology, it also has a lot of storytelling in the mix too. which is nice as i don’t have any degree in biology lmao. i do plan on reading more theory-based on books on immunity and diseases in the future. maybe something related to cardiology too? any recs?

it is moving a bit faster now… i didn’t understand why they got together but i like their dynamic. i feel like my favorite part of this book is the philosophical parts that happen every once in a while

knowing the end kinda ruined my chance of getting invested into the story lmao

I always have this problem with Taylor Jenkins Reid that make it really hard for me to be invested in the story and feel the stakes. it it like I see something so clearly but when I try to touch it it just disappears from my hands like it never existed.

it all seems so flat to me but I understand why this is a good book.

The way I know that the lack of actual romantic scenes between them will hurt my soul. that's the only thing Ann Liang is missing to become one of the best romance authors currently
