Oooohhh man.... if this keeps getting better I might have to rank this over ACOTAR. But Violets reluctance to kill opponents is starting to get old and Im sure its going to end up costing her dearly.

I'm struggling so hard not to DNF this one... the world building is good, but the stubborn naivete of the FMC is ssssooooo annoying. Like get a grip girl, dang.

I have a feeling if you like vampyres and you binge read Den of Vipers you're going to love this one...

I gotta tell ya, I usually pretty much have it figured out by now, but there are twists and turns and dives like roller coaster in here. Even though you already kinda know how it ends, it's still a thrilling ride because there's no way to guess how many loops there are before the BIG drop. I haven't had this much fun reading a book with no romance in a while!

Ok, this book went viral for a reason. Even though it feels very dry, the flipping POVs make it a non-issue, and for some reason, I just want to keep reading and reading even though everything and nothing has happened. This is wild!

Only 50 pages in and already HOOKED. If the spice lives up to the build-up, whoa Nelly... Side note, being that the author uses some actual places in Las Vegas that I have been, it's also really fun to relive my personal experiences of some of the places mentioned in the book.

The neuroscience discussed from a psychiatrist perspective is very intriguing. The way the author includes anecdotes from real patients keeps the content from being too dry. Im actually annotating this one to pass on to a friend. I can't wait to be able to discuss it with her.

Currently DEVOURING this book. I didn't know how much I needed to see Adara, Einar, Mavlyn, and Leaps stories continue until I started this second book in the series. The first one was good, but I love the backstories and history involved in this one!

If this doesn't have a HEA I will riot...

Ummm Dragons, Fae, enemies to lovers, fated mates, secrets, intrigue, AND a pretty bada$$ FMC? YES PLEASE! I've already ordered the next 2 books in the series!

Well.... this reads a little rough at times, as if the author hasn't fully matured in her writing or just has a lazy editor. But so far, it is intriguing. I'm definitely going to keep reading.

I feel like the smut be smuttin, but I'm struggling not to DNF this one because the angst is due to the dudes just consistently making assumptions based on their insecurities and it's literally making me hostile. Think I might walk away and try again later...

Very enjoyable so far. My brain is a teeny bit bored because I'm used to darker fantasy, and it's a SSSSLLLLOOOOOOWWWWW burn. But, I find myself smiling and giggling at the antics, and I love the character banter 💚.

I honestly don't know if I'm going to have to DNF this or not.... this is my 2nd time trying to read it and so far I just get the vibe that the author is trying to write way above her station and just isn't doing it justice. Hopefully I turn out to be wrong.
