See this dog shouldn’t exist. It acts like a cartoon character even though it was allegedly the most savage wolf hound of its whole litter at one point? It’s never growled at anything or chewed a single sock. Just follows her around whining when her owner is sad and jumping on the bed when she’s happy. So dumb.

Re-listening to season 1

Pets in books are my “pet” peeve because they are always anthropomorphized and written like a Disney movie character. But these dogs, while quirky, appear to be behaving like real dogs so far, so I’m cautiously optimistic.
