Sleeping on your friends couch for 2 years and you have a huge ton of generational money is ridiculous. It’s a lot that I don’t like about this book but the drama is mid enough for me to continue pushing through to the last page.

I have found this book to be insightful. Identity Capital has made it easy to conceptualize some of my academic and professional accomplishments that would be meaningful to consider when on the hunt for a new job or networking. The chapter on weak ties being more impactful than our strong relationships is especially useful. I have never thought to use some of my weaker connections to my advantage until this book.
