Ugh this is my new favorite book. I’m practically inhaling it

Very in-your-face so far for the negative effects of religious organizations, especially their (specifically) male leaders, and is also pretty obvious about women’s expected place in society (needed to be quiet, polite, etc.) and men’s desire to control them, and of course the love interest is the most gorgeous guy she’s ever seen. But this is my fun/easy read, so I’m addicted give me ten more

The beginning was a little rough but the dialogue is PEAK and I’m getting into it now.

Bit slow, but has a few precious gem moments, which gets me hooked, from time to time. Nearly done (audible).

I’ve only been impressed by two scenes so far, let’s see if the ending helps~

If I had to take a shot every time the main character 1.) says her love interest smells like bread 2.) mentions labels of LGBTQ and forces it into a conversation 3.) lists a name of a song… I’d have alcohol poisoning. It’s fine reading those things the first five time, but now it’s a large amount, like twenty or thirty. As an writer, get more creative.
