I do really hope this gets better, but the pacing is really getting to me. Maybe im just not a slow burn reader. I feel like a lot could be cut out for a more fluid story. I do love the MMC though, and the grandma Honey is awesome too.

So far, I'm very disappointed. I've read alot of Clio's books and normally love them. This one has weird pacing, alot of filler information that doesn't matter. I'm only 30% in and I'm not yet invested. The killer angle feels dragged out, and the FMCs relationship with her sister feels like it's only being highlighted as a set up for her sister to get a book later, yet she's a very unlikable character at this time.
