I stopped reading (listening to) but I'm looking for a reason to go back again. I have SO MANY books that I want to read more and have read instead. The book plot seemed to be too obvious in what I read. After writing the paragraph questioning the book I took it up again and Im now getting interested. Let me see what happens?

It's the first book in the series so I'm giving it leeway as it's quite simplistic. At the time it was published it must have been more intriguing. I'm listening to the audio; that causes the book to improve for me with a few exceptions.
