Y’all… I’m trying to continue this book. Is it interesting yes, but I CANNOT deal with the FMC is an idiot or doormat. Like girl… you’re a doctor and taking mess from a man? Really… it’s unbearable. I only have a little more in me to keep going. How dumb can you be. Other than that it’s good.
Then it’s the fact that she has her own money. It’s NO reason for you to deal with that.

Just starting out and bit irritated. I feel it’ll be a great book, but I read Colliding Fate first because it was advertised as a standalone but Harlow/Hendrix/Acyn were mentioned a lot, so I already know the climax of this story. I don’t like things to be exposed too soon. I wish I had read these books in order. It’s a series imo if authors base a “standalone” on side character from the previous book.
