I don’t know what it is about this book or this story but something about it…. is just constantly pissing me off. But I’m also enjoying it at the same time? I feel like this might be like a three star. The writing feels kind of choppy sometimes and I’m confused why her dad cares so much about her sex life and why they kissed so early in book. But im gonna finish it in the next book is an age gap trope so😻

Something abt the comments the dad makes to her abt them/him pmos me. Or maybe he’s trying to be their matchmaker

Back to my roots

I low-key really enjoy the fast pace of this book. It gives kind of a mystery vibe because I know that there is more of the story than what has been revealed so far. I think it’s only about like 250 pages which will be a nice quick read (I have to read the second book though)before I get back to the legends of thezmar. Anyways, I’d say so far so good and the writing is kind of poetic.

I really thought this was gonna be one of my least fav Zapata reads bc I wasn’t sure abt the whole superhero thing but BOY WAS I SO SO WRONG🙏🙏🙏 OH MY GOD I AM EATING THIS BOOK UPPPP🍜🍜🍜🍜 might be in one of my tops & reread circulation because OMG this book is HILARIOUS and I LOVEEEE the main characters

Bro Mariana Zapata does it again!!!! Such a great story. Have never read a Zapata book I haven’t loved. Wow and I loveeee the superhero aspect of this book! I thought I wouldn’t, but it’s not like all-in-your-face superhero. It’s a on the down low superhero

OK, I’m enjoying this book! I think I’ll probably take another break between this book and the final book tho. Just something overall with this series that I don’t like is the pacing. I’m gonna find it interesting that they like jumped a whole year. I feel like Wilder underestimated how much his actions would impact Thea. And then Wilder was getting annoyed at Thea and I was like bro ur the one that left her

It’s like just the right amount of cliche but also distinct? Like wow. I’m so entertained and I neeeedddd to keep reading. I loveee Nate💝🔥⭐️And the writing style! I need to read fourth wing soon😅😅😅 (and maybe some of her other books)

Omg ok this is my first time listening to an audiobook. I went for a walk and listened on 1.7x speed and omg why have I not listened to a book before! Wow wow wow

So I really enjoy the characters, but I don’t know if I’m just in like a slump because I haven’t had a lot of time to read? Or if I feel like still just like nothing’s happening besides them just fucking. Which like slay but I just want plot plsssssss. Please please. And I think I lowk js spoiled something for myself so that’s awk. Hopefully tomorrow I can push through and get to the third book.

I think the book is js starting to get more plot yasss besides the loop of then just fucking and then regretting it! So yippee!! But I loveee the character dynamicssss such a good found family

Ok the book is good but literally every chapter is them doing something and then “oh we’re never doing this ever again”. Then guess what happens next chapter! They’re doing it again!
