This is the book I wanted from Jesus and John Wayne. Much richer and we might be cooked.

Not what I expected at all but I’m enjoying the ride.

Slightly behind in my slow read but I cried on the bus reading the end of the last chapter.

I am surprised at how this book is so readable!

Part of me wants to read ahead and the other part is enjoying reading a chapter a day. Another part of me wants to listen to the audio book so I can learn the pronunciation of everyone’s names.

Am I slightly crazy for attempting three slow reads at time? Maybe. At a chapter a day this is a fun read! Tolstoy is engaging! Having a digital copy makes the French dialogue easier!

I'm finally getting back to this for Footnotes & Tangent's Wolf Crawl. I remember Mantel's writing being tricky when I first picked this up but I am not having a problem this go around.

Four hours left of this book. It's enjoyable and I find YA thrillers to be good palate cleansers. I am just terrible at listening to audiobooks.

Reread because I want to start the sequel AND I HAVE FORGOTTEN EVERYTHING.
