The writing isn't very good so far, but the storyline is keeping my son and I engaged. However, it seems we are not in the car together a lot recently because it is taking us forever to get through this book.

I'm an hour into the audiobook and I am not impressed with the writing.

So far, I'm thinking this is a bad choice for an audiobook. It will be hard to retain the information.

So far, it feels like the book is trying too hard to put in LGTBQ characters. So far there is a transgender character and an asexual character. I know there is a publisher type push to have more LGTBQ characters, but it gets totally out of skew with the general population and now oddly over represented. We'll see if there is a plot purpose to introducing their gender identity or sexuality.

I'm enjoying this book so far. I think if I wasn't familiar with Slavic fairy tales, some references that are not explained would be confusing. Other than that, the story is engrossing, but I am reading it slowly.

Stopped reading when I got a book from hold. It was a hard choice.

Yay, the audiobook is finally out. I've been looking forward to this book.

The best book about the periodic table that I have ever started. It had me laughing out loud several times, which I didn't expect.

This book is at my office in Spokane, which is fitting considering it a BLM office. Someone has moved the book, so I am not sure if I'll get to finish it.

I am enjoying the start to this book. The action is a bit slow, but it's building tension effectively anyway. There are suggestions of magic and of nefarious actors, but it still leaves it as a mystery that we get to discovery with the protagonist.

Second book of the series is off to a funny start. Interestingly, the book introduces a dating app which actually sounds like a good idea for how to run a dating app. I'm curious if anyone will see this idea and try to make it work. If so, does the author get any copyright revenue from it?

At 7:11:17 when got book on hold I want to listen to first

I'm at 72%, so i only have 15 hours left of the audiobook. This book is nutty long

I stopped for a while so that I can continue listening to the 22 remaining hours of my other book for which my loan expired desire having listened to 30 hours already.
