Ngl I do love when a book is unapologetic about the author's cultural snobbery

I'm still very early in the world build-y stages of this book but it def is a. RF Kuang book! I am also noticing that 2 of my favorite writers are preoccupied with academia but express that preoccupation very differently. Highly amused.
