I am not easily triggered but the scene that just take place truly horrified me. I understand that this is to clearly show what is at stake, but wow. The way it was written makes it horrible. Even for a dark romance. I wished I had skipped this scene honestly.

DNF... I just couldn't get into this story. The characters were too hard to love for me.

I am so frustrated with Cole! Just ugh. So curious how this relationship is going to play out (especially with Cole)... But I trust Penelope to make it good. A slow start, but I am really into it right now.

Loving this. Evelyn is not a likeable character and yet she feels so realistic to me. The way she talks about her life, you can understand her choices and you can really see how and why she did things. I am confused as to what her link with Monique is, but we shall see. Very excited!

So much fun. I think Piper is so much more than people paint her as! Love this.

It is even better the second time. I love Nino and Kiara. And the Falcone brothers!!!

I am enjoying this a lot. The ocd representation is well done and I am curious to read more. I will say, this book feels a bit slow.
