Ok it’s picking up. This is the pace and plot I remember so fondly.

So far this read is not as good as I remember. I’m kind of stuck in the depth of the exposition but I know it heats up later. Still an awesome concept and great exploration I just don’t remember it being this slow.

I was hoping for a more scientific study. So far this is a bit too woowoo for me but I want to give it a chance because I think there’s still some value in the book.

This book is perfectly ridiculous

DNF at 40%. This one is moving incredibly slowly and I’m I’m not that interested in what’s happening.

Started strong but is getting repetitive. I’m all in on the premise that critical thinking and evidence based reasoning should be the foundation of any serious civilization. The author has made this point emphatically in every chapter so far. They have applied the theory to such examples as alien abductions, demons, witches, and angels further solidifying the point. I’m not sure the book has anything else to say.
