I’m in shock. This book has had me gripped from the beginning but at the 50% mark it got to where I couldn’t put it down. 50% mark!!!!

Why did I scare myself away from reading this for so long?

Loving this. It has good pacing, and I love the occult theme and the research the author has done to make it all believable.

I’m loving this book. It has SO much atmosphere. It’s like when you have a really nice glass of rd wine and you sip it slowly to savour it. This is such a perfect autumn read and the way the author describes the town paints such a vivid picture.

Coming straight from a poorly written 3 star read, this book is like a breath of fresh air. The descriptions of the town and atmosphere are 👩‍🍳💋 It’s giving me witchy twilight vibes

There’s one character that keeps being referred to as ‘they’

Really pleasantly surprised. I was close to giving this book away without reading it, now I’ve given it a shot and I was hooked from the first page. Seriously.
