Cathartic is an understatement !!

Hmm, I wanted to like this bc it’s murakami, but honestly the story didn’t seem satisfying, or I couldn’t find the overall meaning. Nonetheless the illustrations are very nice and the book itself is quite beautiful.

already in love with this book. there is something so sterile about biology classes that discuss different animal species/classifications. I am so used to that kind of talk, and didn’t even know how much I wanted to learn about these subjects from a curious or awe inspiring view.
this book combines personal experiences and curiosity with knowledge about other species. Love love love!

I didn’t really know what to expect with this one, but ray straight up opened a whole world of thought I had not previously experienced.

Essentially, I —like the majority of people—cannot imagine a realistic positive future. Ray helped me realize how destructive that mindset is. The challenge to imagine a climate-stable future is really helpful—lol my creative is popping off.
