Didn't like this at first but I'm determined to finish it because it was highly recommended by a close friend. I both don't read a lot of fantasy or a lot of romance so it's a nice step outside of my comfort zone. The writing isn't great though and it's such a physically huge book that I can't fit in my purse for easy reading. It's an armchair reader, while listening to dark academia ambient music on YouTube.
