Current theory: her binding is because of the ceremony in book one

This book has some flaws. Theres a few weird changes of tense in the book. The chapter will be in third person then randomly use words like "my" and "ours" outside of conversation.

Characters that are strangers to our main characters get referred to by name outside of conversation when the name itself has never been said to this character.

I'm about 55% through and its not a complete turn off, but should be fixed

I almost DNF'd this at Chapter 11. The weird sexual innuendos using coffee terms was weird. I am continuing this because I used an audible credit on it and don't want to waste it. This is such a let down after the other two books. The takeover was amazing and had me laughing gasping and crying along with the characters. This one is very eh and very cringe.
