the pacing is very different on this book and I am struggling to keep up

there’s more context to the racist trope critiques I’ve seen about this but still something to be said about it (a succubus, really?!) but the poor writing critique is 100%. Piper must think her reader forgets everything they’ve ever said because if she casually mentions the fae kid with big eyes ONE MORE TIME OK WE GET IT. Anyway I’m still toughin it out for the drama so wish me luck

its just weird to hear Dwight having practical spiritual conversations

my second read is with the audibook and it is reminding me of my no-audio-fiction preference because I just cant keep up with audio fiction the way I do nonfiction

finding out that the founder and first librarian of the library system I work for was a lesbian :')
