this is ofc way more informational since it’s nonfiction but honestly the value of reading historical fiction cannot be overstated because i do find myself recognizing a lot of the players here from books i’ve read previously (specifically the poisonwood bible and homegoing) (!!!!)

been reading this book for 4 years and I think I may finish it imminently.. the reflection is abt to hit hard

there will be the most out of pocket scientifically nonsensical quote from a researcher and then it’s followed by “from an article published in 2006” its crazy how much things have changed in such little time

this is possibly the perfect nonfiction companion to the wrong end of the telescope
