sigh i missed spensa but i miss her with skyward flight more 😭😭 i think that’s my main critique with the series over all. so much of spensa’s arc happens away from the home she made for herself in book 1 and i just wish she could be with all the characters i also love so much

i’m kinda mid on this one so far? alaniq is an interesting character for sure but with all the turmoil happening in the detritis government rn, the outside perspective is hard to engage with…

fm might be my favorite character in this series actually i find her so relatable and her love of music really hits for me

doing a FULL series reread which means it’s time for the novellas which i never actually read lol

this plot takes some time to build but damn spensa character growth is wilddddd

i like where the story goes in this book for the context of the whole series .. but it is not my favorite lol
