holy shit this is intense

normally i would be so curious about whats going on in this world, but the writing is corny so im actually not curious. it kinda reminds me of ready player one in the sense that i could see this being an actual game that people play, but it doesnt have the weight of that story and world yet.

i found the part where eleanor begs mary to stay friends with her so improbable that i looked it up and sure enough theres no evidence that happened

I really really want to give this a fair shot but at this point I am hate reading it and fighting the urge to blow my brains out. This is an expository nightmare, they should have just written a nonfiction history book about these women. It would have been far more compelling in that format than this dry ass play-by-play account of historical facts filtered through the lens of two flat characters.
