“Say my name again like you’re mouth-humping it.” Wtf. These are 18 year olds, which I get can make terrible choices and say incredibly cringy things like above, but this book is awful! If it wasn’t an audiobook I wouldn’t have made it this far.

This book is beautiful in the same messy, heavy way that life is. So far I love it. A line that caused me to tear up: “I’m forever be safe-ing those who don’t care whether I walk into traffic.”

It’s covering topics that are relevant today - unfair treatment between sexes & those in a minority group. It also discusses potential conflict by believing a book of faith while those using said book are semi villainous.

It’s silly, but it’s not keeping my attention as much as I’d like
