Chapter 1 done. This chapter could have been a short story and I would have rated it 5/5. Hoping the rest of the book is as captivating!

This is so so good so far. Michael has autism and communicates with his IPad. Even though Michael says he can only read at a grade one reading level, he had been writing a book about his life for years without anyone knowing!

Moore talks about how many law enforcement personnel are involved with the KKK, and how there was a significant increase after Obama became president. As the years have gone by, many police officers steadily continue to join. This isn't surprising to me now as I watch videos of ICE

Reading this in 2026 is so daunting. The author makes direct comparisons about the January 6th riot’s and how the rioters rhetoric matches the KKK’s word for word. He prefaces the 2024 election and warns readers that democracy is in danger. Man was he ever right.
